Recharge Points for Mobility Scooters & Electric Wheelchairs
Expand you customer base and build your brand as a community oriented business that welcomes all by providing a recharge point for electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters at your premises in the City or North Adelaide.
City of Adelaide is an Affiliate Member of Recharge SchemeTM and works with local businesses and organisations to provide the recharge points for the growing number of mobility devices in our community.
Users of mobility devices can be reluctant to make journeys for fear their batteries run flat and they become stranded. Providing RECHARGE PointsTM can allay these concerns and allow people to actively participate in the City.
It’s easy for your business to get involved. All you need is to provide a standard power point, have minimum $10 million public liability insurance, sign a simple registration form and meet some access and safety requirements. Council staff will meet you at your premises to talk through the process with you.
For more information call the customer centre on 8203 7203.
